Board of Directors
NS Raghavan – Non-Executive Chairman
Mr Raghavan is the non-executive Chairman of Indegene and the Founder/Chairman of Nadathur Holdings and Investments, a private investment firm whose primary objective is to leverage India-based opportunities to create market-leading global enterprises. He is a board member of several public companies including ABB India, the Murugappa Group of Companies, and IDFC Private Equity. He was the recipient of the Dhirubhai Ambani Award for Excellence in Entrepreneurship in 2004. Mr Raghavan, the co-founder of Infosys Technologies, was the Joint Managing Director of NASDAQ - INFY until his retirement in 2000. He has set up the N.S. Raghavan Centre of Entrepreneurial Learning at IIM, Bangalore and is the Chairman of its advisory council.
V Thyagarajan – Non-Executive Director
Mr Thyagarajan has more than 35 years of experience in the global pharmaceutical industry—all within GlaxoSmithKline. Over the course of his career, he has held senior management positions in GSK in several of its global operations including Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. He was the MD of GSK, India and then VP of GSK, Asia based in Singapore. He is currently the Vice Chairman of GSK, India. He is also a board member of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), India's largest software company.
TVG Krishnamurthy – Non-Executive Director
Mr Krishnamurthy has more than 35 years of experience in various industries across Asia including pharmaceuticals, engineering, packaging, and food and confectioneries. He has been responsible for strategic planning and general management in all the companies he has worked in. Currently, he works as an independent consultant to companies and works closely with their managements on all aspects of corporate planning.
Sriram Nadathur – Non-Executive Director
Sriram Nadathur is a Director in Nadathur Holdings and Investments and is responsible for managing the firm's health care and life science portfolio. He is also Director of Nadathur FarEast, which is focused on international investments. Prior to this, Sriram founded Syndicated Research Group (USA), a financial and HR research firm and managed its operations. He also founded World Research Advisory (USA), an advisory firm catering to the needs of treasurers of Fortune 500 companies.
Executive Directors
Rajesh Nair, MBBS, MBA – Managing Director
Rajesh has more than 15 years of experience in clinical medicine and in the global pharmaceutical industry. He started his career as a physician, working across primary as well as tertiary care settings before becoming the first doctor in India to graduate from the prestigious Indian Institute of Manag ement (IIM), Ahmedabad. He has held positions in corporate and marketing strategy, market research, mergers and acquisitions, and general management. Rajesh was a key member of the M&A strategy team of the ASE Group, a major Indian pharmaceutical company. He is based in NJ and is also the President and CEO of Indegene, USA.
Manish Gupta, BTech, MBA – Director
Manish has more than a decade of experience in managing operations and large teams in various industries including banking and financial services, and software and pharmaceutical services. Manish has a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from IT BHU, Varanasi and an MBA from IIM, Ahmedabad. Manish was the head of a project team in engineering services in Infosys Technologies. At Indegene, he is responsible for general management, finance, HR, strategy, and M&A initiatives.
Sanjay Parikh, PhD – Director
Sanjay has more than 15 years of experience in the global health care industry, having successfully founded and run a medical diagnostics company in India. Sanjay has a BTech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay, a Masters in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University, and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Prior to joining Indegene, he was with Antfactory, a $200 million British VC firm responsible for the health care portfolio. At Indegene, Sanjay is responsible for the company's European business.
