Mumbai, 23rd May 2006: The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, USA and Indegene Lifesystems - India’s largest provider of medical and scientific marketing services to practicing physicians and the pharmaceutical industry have entered an agreement for the distribution and organization of a variety of Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs across Asia and parts of Africa.

As part of the agreement, Indegene will now be able to organize scientific meetings and symposia in Asia on the latest developments in medical research and clinical practice addressed by the distinguished faculty of Johns Hopkins Medicine.
Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, its Bloomberg School of Public Health, and Johns Hopkins Hospital are recognized worldwide to be the pre-eminent centers of excellence in the field of medicine and research. Hopkins faculty are world renown thought leaders in their respective therapy areas. According to Dr. Victor B. Marrow, Executive Director, Office of Funded Programs/CME, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine “We at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine are most pleased by the direct link Indegene is providing with physicians in Asia. Cutting edge programs are developed on a regular basis by Johns Hopkins professors as well as invited faculty members from other leading institutions in the US. These will now be available to doctors in Asia and Africa.
