Indegene acquires Total Therapeutic Management

Expands marketing firm’s US presence

The global marketing solutions firm Indegene has bought Total Therapeutic Management (TTM).

The addition of Atlanta-based TTM will expand Indegene's presence in the US where it provides marketing solutions to life science, pharmaceutical and healthcare organisations.

Founded in 1995, TTM is a quality improvement, outcomes research and clinician engagement services – clients have included the Federal Government, with whom TTM worked in academic detailing, HEDIS/ STAR improvement, outcomes research and medical record retrieval and review.

"Over the last 18 years, TTM has built significant expertise and experience in effectively utilising sound clinical knowledge and engagement tactics to improve healthcare quality," said Indegene president Dr Rajesh Nair.

"This transaction expands Indegene Healthcare's presence in the commercial and federal healthcare markets and increases our quality solution portfolio. We are delighted to have the TTM team join us."

TTM will benefit from belonging to a larger organisation with a global reach – Indegene has offices in the US, UK, China, India, and Australia – and has already announced plans to launch a number of new offerings in area of risk management, quality improvement and engagement.

"This new phase will allow us to leverage Indegene's global, clinical and technology capabilities to further accelerate investments, and offer our clients a broader range of services from Indegene Healthcare's portfolio," said TTM CEO and co-founder Ed Perez.

TTM will retain its existing leadership and organisational structure, operating as Indegene TTM. Nair said that clients "will continue to receive the same level of service and expertise, and will additionally have the extended Indegene eco-system to rely on".

Indegene recently carved out its healthcare business, said CEO Manish Gupta, adding that acquiring TTM would “fortify Indegene's commitment to provide its healthcare clients with world-class solutions and experience”.
